I'm in my beloved England and went to this magical place today, Daylesford Organic Farm, in the Cotswolds. They've been farming organically for 30 years and also have an adorable shop and eatery in Notting Hill.
I don't think I've ever been in a gourmet shop quite like this one. You walk in and feel like all is right in the world. Even sporting biking gear & a "just huffed and puffed in the Cotswolds hills" red-faced look, I still felt that.
(I did wish I had a cashmere scarf, tan leather boots, blown out hair & a giant tote bag on instead - to fit in better with the "just down from London to check on my second home" crowd)
It's a giant farmshop with beautiful produce, a lovely restuarant, the most beautiful cookery school I've ever seen, an airy shop with clothes and beauty products, as well as a home section with kitchenware and pretty white plates. There's a spa, cottages to stay in overnight (expensive!) and a sister inn, the Wild Rabbit (less expensive!).
I only stopped briefly for lunch but I fell madly, deeply in love. I'm going to get my fix again when I'm in London!
