Can I go back to school at Oxford?

Oxford makes me want to go back to school. It's just so...academic. It's what I always dreamed college would look like when I was about 7 years old. And then Harry Potter made it even dreamier. You can go to The Great Hall and see what inspired Hogwarts Hall (but double check when it opens and closes because "real" students eat lunch there every day!).

I also love that it's such an easy day trip from London - by bus or train, it's about an hour and a half, depending on which one you catch.

You know I love a great view & climbing hundreds of steps for the reward - don't miss Carfax Tower in Oxford. This climb is less than 100 steps, just like my first walk-up apartment in NYC!

For lunch, I loved St. Giles' Cafe, right near Oxford's most famous pub, The Eagle & Child, where literary giants C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien used to hang out.

For more great tips - check out Lauren Knight's Oxford tips on her blog, Aspiring Kennedy - she lived there for a year while her husband was at grad school. She is always spot-on and you'll be craving a milkshake after you read her tips.
