New York's Famous Steakhouse, Peter Luger

I'm a sucker for old New York. For Andy's birthday, we went out to one of the city's famous steakhouses, Peter Luger, in operation since 1887 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.  I don't eat red meat very often, maybe once every six months. But I loved every minute of our dinner, from the decor that reminded me of beer halls in Germany, to their famous creamed spinach. A word to the wise-bring cash unless you have your Luger credit card, and call two months ahead to get the reservation time that you want. Download the Uber car service app (possibly the most useful app EVER) onto your iPhone, which will get you over the bridge and back in style. And you will have leftovers!
